Spring, 2008 - Alternative Ale (Altbier)
The Buzzards Bay Altbier is an Alternative to all those Ÿber-hopped, over the top ales that are currently flooding the market. Using copious amounts of German malts, this well-balanced copper ale is slightly sweet and extremely satisfying with a hint of fruitiness in the finish. Nothing overpowering or aggressive, just a nice mature beer to share with friends as we await the arrival of Summer.
